THE NUN had a good weekend grossing around 28 crore nett in its first weekend. The collections were flat on Sunday as the film does not have a big family audience. The collections are by far the biggest for the franchise as the best film THE CONJURING 2 had grossed 35.50 crore nett for the whole week and this is going to easily surpass that by a margin.

PALTAN had poor weekend of 5 crore nett and even though there was some fair growth on Saturday and Sunday it had to be much more. The film has mediocre collections all over.

LAILA MAJNU was even worse than PALTAN with a very dull weekend of 1.50 crore nett. The film will do less business than the 1976 LAILA MAJNU (Rishi Kapoor) which had a lifetime GROSS box office of a little under 10 crore. Here the weekend GROSS is under 2 crore and it could fold at 4-5 crore.
