STREE had an excellent weekend as it easily crossed the 20 crore nett mark with business of over 21.50 crore nett in the second. This has given the film a total of 81 crore nett in ten days. The film is doing better than RAAZI which stood at 78 crore nett after ten days.

There is a chance that the film could go on become a bigger HIT than RAAZI but that will depend on the business over the next few weeks where there are many films releasing. The film will become the biggest film of Shraddha Kapoor who has been on a poor run of late as it beats the business of ABCD 2 sometime next week. But rather than the actors, its the director who gets the most credit for this film and it was a first time director. The target for the film will be to become the second highest grossing small-medium film after TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS.

The holdovers YAMLA PAGLA DEEWANA PHIR SE, HAPPY PHIRR BHAG JAYEGI, GOLD and SATYAMEVA JAYATE all fared badly. GOLD was the only film to get to 50 lakhs as it grossed a little over 50 lakhs nett in the fourth weekend. It is still very low for GOLD and it is very close to the end of its run.
