Looks like Priyanka Chopra will finally make her relationship with Nick Jonas official today. The American singer arrived in Mumbai a little past midnight on Thursday (August 17) with his parents, and is said to have headed straight to PeeCee’s Juhu residence.

BT found out that over the last two days, Priyanka’s house is being decorated with lighting and flowers. Buzz is that the actress will make her engagement to Nick official after a traditional roka plus ring ceremony, which is likely to be held at her residence. Nick and his parents have been put up at Priyanka’s house. At the time of going to press, it was speculated that the singer’s siblings and some other relatives would also attend the couple’s big day.

Priyanka and Nick have been dating for a while now. Their relationship caught the eyes of the press this summer, when the duo was seen together at Nick’s cousin’s wedding and at a couple of other public events. What added fuel to the fire was the actress’ sudden visit to India last month with Nick, her exit from Salman Khan’s Bharat, her family interacting with him and the huge diamond that she has been flaunting lately, which is said to be the ring Nick slipped on to her finger on her birthday. Now, all eyes are set on the Chopras and the Jonas’ for a formal announcement.

The big day has finally arrived for the desi girl. American singer and songwriter, Nick Jonas, with his parents, Kevin Jonas Sr and Denise, who recently celebrated 33 years of togetherness, touched down in Mumbai late night on Thursday. His fiancée, actress Priyanka Chopra, was at the airport to receive them. They headed to her Juhu bungalow where Nick had stayed during his earlier visit to Mumbai in June. The residence is presently decked up in a festive look in preparation for the party today where, in the presence of family, friends and the who’s who of Bollywood, the couple is expected to formally announce their engagement. PeeCee’s 25-yearold beau had presented her with a diamond ring on her birthday, July 18, which she has been flaunting all of this week. A month later, the 36-year-old actress is ready to introduce the man of her dreams to the world.

“There will be a traditional ceremony early on Saturday followed by the party which is expected to start at 9 pm. Priyanka has invited her family and close friends from the film industry, including the team of her next film, The Sky Is Pink, producers Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur, director Shonali Bose, and co-stars Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim. Meanwhile, Nick and his folks are expected to fly back to the US on Sunday morning and Priyanka will resume shooting for Shonali’s film on Monday,” says a source.

Karan Johar and Manish Malhotra are top of the guest list, as is Priyanka’s Bajirao Mastani director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The actress’s cousin, Parineeti Chopra, is taking a break from the shooting of Jabariya Jodi in Lucknow to be with her Mimi didi on her big day.

On Friday night, Priyanka and Nick arrived at a Juhu five-star for quiet dinner with with their parents.
