VEERE DI WEDDING did well again on Saturday as it collected 11.50 crore nett to take its total to 22.25 crore nett. The growth was limited but the numbers are still high so it can get away with the limited growth. It would have good for the film if it could have grown 20-30% as it is a urban film and that is when multiplexes of metros do best business.

But more important than that would be that it did not drop which was a possibility considering how high the first day was. The film is unlikely to do with the core Hindi mass and family audience as places which did not do well on day one did not improve. But the urban youth especially the female audience in metros could make this film a HIT and the weekdays will tell.

The first two day collections of VEERE DI WEDDING are as follows.
Friday - 10,75,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 11,50,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 22,25,00,000 apprx

The business on Sunday may again see limited growth but even that is more than enough for the film as it will take the film to a 35 crore nett weekend and that is a very good first weekend number for the film.

It has two weeks till RACE 3 and that should be enough for the film as is likely to be front loaded and not a long runner like a RAAZI or SONU KE TITU KI SWEETY.
