Aanand L Rai’s ambitious project Zero is only getting bigger each day. While Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma headline the cast, there are quite a few surprises in store for the audience. Salman Khan has already shot a song. Besides him, actresses including Sridevi, Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Karisma Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt, who have been SRK’s leading ladies over the years, will also be seen in cameos. Abhay Deol, too, has an interesting role. And now, there are two more additions to the list.

JIMMY AND MADDY
Rai has got two of his other favourites — Jimmy Sheirgill and R Madhavan — for the film as well. Reveals a source, “Aanand’s Tanu Weds Manu and Tanu Weds Manu Returns feature Madhavan and Jimmy. Now, he has roped them in for small but interesting roles in Zero.”

The source adds, “Jimmy and Madhavan immediately agreed to do it. Maddy is fond of Shah Rukh. So, there were no questions asked.” Interestingly, there have been rumours about Madhavan approaching SRK for the Hindi adaptation of his hit Tamil film Vikram Vedha. As for Jimmy, he also has a good equation with both the filmmaker and the superstar.

NEW YORK MEIN SHOOT!
Maddy had to opt out of the Saif Ali Khan-starrer, The Hunter, which is also produced by Rai, due to an injury. But now, he’s ready to resume work. He will shoot for his guest appearance in Zero soon. The source says, “He will soon fly to New York to shoot the scenes for his cameo. Jimmy will also finish his portions in a few days from now.”
