A bonafide superstar, Ajay Devgn has displayed incredible range as a performer.  For decades, he has been the common man’s hero. But his journey to stardom wasn’t without hurdles. The makers of Rani Mukerji’s Hichki, which releases this week, have asked prominent people to share their untold weaknesses and how they converted them into their strengths. Ajay revealed his biggest hichki to Rani. And the National Award-winning actor sure has an inspirational message for the junta.

Talent speaks for itself
The actor said, “When I started out in the industry, there was this huge buzz that ‘he is an ordinary-looking guy and he won’t make it. He won’t become a hero’. I used to hear all of that, and it felt like a hichki. But I didn’t pay heed to any of it and went ahead with my acting.” In an industry, where looks are sometimes given more importance than an actor’s acting abilities, the Bollywood superstar ensured everyone took notice of his talent by delivering great performances as well as box-office blockbusters.

Keep the focus
Having overcome this hichki and gone on to amass massive success, Ajay encourages everyone to ignore the hichkis in their life and instead focus on their goals.
