Rubbishing reports that she is upset with the recreated version of “Ek Do Teen” in Baaghi 2, veteran choreographer Saroj Khan has showered blessings on the fi lm’s team and appreciated their efforts for the special number that features Jacqueline Fernandez.
Source close to the dance master, who choreographed the original song featuring Madhuri Dixit in Tezaab, reveal that she has, in fact, liked the recreated version of the song and is all praises for director Ahmed Khan and choreographer Ganesh Acharya.
Coincidentally, Ahmed Khan was the assistant choreographer on Tezaab under the guidance of Saroj Khan, while Ganesh Acharya had featured as a background dancer in the 1988 song.
The recreated version, which was flagged off by Saroj Khan herself, comes as a tribute to Tezaab director N Chandra, Saroj Khan and Madhuri Dixit from Baaghi 2 producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director Ahmed Khan. “I’m extremely happy and proud of Ahmed and Ganesh for paying us a tribute through this song. They have all my blessings,” Saroj Khan said.
Meanwhile, a source close to the development further revealed, “There was no question of legal action. There is no competition here and there should be no comparison as every individual is different. There’s no question of which version is better as the new song is a tribute to the original team of 'Ek Do Teen'. The entire Baaghi 2 team has worked very hard on it.”
