The music reality show, Dil Hai Hindustani launched, on Star Plus in 2017 with rapper Badshah, filmmaker-host Karan Johar, singer Shalmali Kholgade and singer-composer Shekhar Ravjiani as the judges is coming up with a second season. While Badshah has been retained, he will be joined by two new judges, singer Sunidhi Chauhan and composer-singer Pritam Chakraborty. Talks are also on with Karan Johar.

A source from the weekend show reveals that new mum singer Sunidhi Chauhan who gave birth to a baby boy in January, definitely returns to television with this show and so also Pritam. “The new season is expected to air by mid-April or early May. The channel is hoping Sunidhi and Pritam’s popularity will bring in more TRP. Auditions are set to kick off soon,” adds the source.

It brings together lovers of Hindi film songs from across the world. Haitham Mohammed Rafi from Oman was the winner of season one that wrapped up last April.
