After playing the antagonist opposite Ajith Kumar in Siva’s 2017 action-packed Tamil thriller Vivegam, Vivek Oberoi has once again given his nod to a baddie in yet another South film. In Boyapati Srinivas’s upcoming Telugu action drama which features Ram Charan in the lead, he will be playing a significant role with shades of grey.
“Boyapati Srinu, believes that Vivek with his presence will make the character look ruthless and menacing. He’s crucial to the plot and the director believes Vivek who has impressed with his performances in films like Company, Shootout at Lokhandwala and Rakht Charitra in the past will do complete justice to the role which is why he has been signed for a sizeable sum,” informs a source close to the development.
The actor recently shot his introduction scene with a crowd of 2000 junior artistes. “There were people running helter skelter, some being crushed under the wheels of 20-25 cars racing around and clouds of the dust flying around as Vivek appears on screen. It was a great entry,” added the source.
Vivek’s official spokesperson confirmed the news but refused to divulge details.
