After King Khan’s birthday blowout in Alibaug, the week will end with another B-Town bash - this one hosted by Deepika Padukone. mid-day has learnt that the actor is hosting a party at her Prabhadevi pad tonight to celebrate the overwhelming response she has received for Padmavati trailer.

On the guest list is the magnum opus’ team including co-stars Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. A Padukone soiree cannot be complete without Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Aditya Roy Kapur. Her new friends, Ittefaq producer Kapil Chopra and director Abhay Chopra too have been invited.

A source reveals, “Whoever Deepika has met in the last few weeks, including Alia, has been complimenting her on the trailer and the song, Ghoomar. Even at SRK’s bash, the constant chatter was around how she needs to celebrate the film.”

While her on-screen husband Kapoor may skip the do as he is out of town, it will be interesting to see if her off-screen love interest makes his presence felt. Rumours suggest all is not well in paradise, with stories hinting that her lastminute decision to attend the film’s 3D trailer launch left Singh miffed. However, the flirtatious exchange on Instagram between the two yesterday tells a different tale.
