SHUBH MANGAL SAAVDHAN has emerged a good success at the box office as it collected 1.50 crore nett apprx at the box office on its second Friday. This is a solid total for its second Friday and takes the eight day business of the film to 25.25 crore nett apprx.

The drop is around 20-25% from Thursday which is good trending though to emerge a major HIT it probably had to hold at the same levels as Thursday or even better as that is what the content films which go over the 50 crore nett tend to do. SHUBH MANGAL SAAVDHAN was the best collecting film this week at multiplexes of the metros as it beat all the new releases including Hollywood horror film IT. It should cross the business of BAREILLY KI BARFI in two weeks and looks to be heading to be a SEMI HIT unless the the holds up better than expected. The film makes its eleven successful films in the year out of 147 releases not counting this weeks releases.

The film is looking to go past BAREILLY KI BARFI on Monday and there is a good chance the film will finish at around 40 crore nett business.
