Ileana D’Cruz and Diljit Dosanjh were all set to be paired in the biopic of former Indian hockey captain Sandeep Singh. The main heroine’s character in the film, too, is that of a female hockey player. Ileana was supposed to play Diljit’s love interest. The duo even did a look test for the film. Everything was finalised, but now, we hear the actress has opted out.

According to an insider, “All that was left for Ileana to do, was sign on the dotted line. However, she is not doing the film anymore.” Instead, she has chosen to be a part of another film with Ajay Devgn. Ileana is doing Raid with the actor. “The dates for both, Diljit and Ajay’s films, were clashing. She decided to choose the latter,” informs another source.

Ileana is currently busy with the promotional campaign for Baadshaho, and will soon begin work on Raid. This will be her second consecutive film with Ajay.
