Last week, the cast of Baadshaho - Ajay Devgn, Em raan Hashmi, Ileana D'Cruz, and Esha Gupta - went to promote their film on The Kapil Sharma Show. However, they had to leave without shooting, as Kapil did not show up even after hours. This was the seventh incident of a film team returning from the show with out shooting in the last two months, something which reportedly caused the channel heads to issue a verbal notice to the comedian for his 'unprofessional behaviour'. It was also reported that Ajay was left fuming after the incident, and he 'stormed off ' the sets in anger.

However, in Delhi recently, Ajay clarified that neither had he stormed off, nor was he angry at Kapil. He said, “I don't know what happened because his shows have been cancelled quite a lot recently and he has been ill. So, I really don't know what the reason was. But it was written that I stormed off. There was nothing like that. We left because he hadn't reached the sets. He is a friend, so the next time we speak, I will get to know what exactly happened.“

When asked if he would refrain from returning to the show, like Shah Rukh Khan, who, it was reported, 'has vowed not to return', Ajay said, “Neither has Shah Rukh made any such statement, nor have I. Yeh sab suni-sunaayi baatein hain.“ He adds further, “Aisi narazgi nahin hoti hai. We are all colleagues, we are cordial when we meet. I'm sure Kapil must have had his reasons and some emergency. But again, till I meet him or talk to him, I cannot say ki koi narazgi ki wajah hai ya nahin.“
