After his last cinematic outing, the Vidya Balan and Arjun Rampal-starrer Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh that hit screens last year, Sujoy Ghosh is returning to the marquee with another thriller, titled Good Luck.
Mirror has learnt that the project is currently in the casting stage and the filmmaker has been approaching B-town actors for the leads.
A source close to the development informed Mirror, “It is a dark thriller that revolves around the story of a young salesman, and an attractive female lead will be cast opposite him. The film is set in Goa and Ghosh is hoping to kick off shooting next month once he has the cast finalised. It will be shot over a couple of months in a start-to-finish schedule.”
Ghosh, when contacted, chose not to comment. Meanwhile, the filmmaker, who hit pay dirt with the widely feted Vidya Balan-starrer Kahaani in 2012, has been working on a short film, Anukul, which is based on a story by the late auteur Satyajit Ray.
