While it’s raining remixes in Bollywood, Tiger Shroff and his Munna Michael leading lady Nidhhi Agerwal have revived an original song, “Chor Bazari” from Imtiaz Ali’s 2009 romcom Love Aaj Kal, picturised on his leads, Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone. The song was shot in a daylong schedule in March in Delhi’s Lodi Gardens and has their characters on a date. The song starts playing on the radio and Nidhhi breaks into a jig.
Recreating the song was director Sabbir Khan’s idea and fortunately for them, the rights were with the music company that has acquired the score of his upcoming musical. “While we were shooting it, we realised that both the original and our version were shot in the capital and both Deepika and Nidhhi are from Bangalore. Niddhi tries to imitate Deepika’s steps from the original but in her own cute way,” Sabbir told Mirror.
