Mirror (March 4) had earlier reported that on Tiger Shroff's 27th birthday on March 2, Ram Gopal Varma had posted a series of tweets mocking the actor and urging him to “learn machoism“ from his actor-father Jackie Shroff. On Monday, the 55-year-old filmmaker began tweeting again stating that being a martial arts fan he is curious to know who is a better fighter, Tiger or Vidyut Jammwal. He went on to praise Tiger stating that he should challenge Vidyut to a “direct real fight“ to prove to everyone that he's the best. He was quick to add that the Commando actor “will never have the guts“ to take on Tiger's challenge.

Vidyut didn't challenge Tiger to a fight. He did something better. He spoke to RGV and uploaded the conversation on Twitter with the caption “Forget the Shaolin Monk style, check out @RGVZoomin's #drunkenmasterstyle.“ In the recording Ramu refers to the Heropanti actor as a “transgender“ and tells Vidyut that “you are the biggest, greatest man I ever saw in my life, Tiger Shroff is the greatest woman I saw in my life“. He goes on to say that the “bottom line is whether you think you can beat the shit out of Tiger Shroff or not“ to which Vidyut retorts, “I don't need to think like that Sir.“

Tiger was nonchalant, admitted he had read RGV's tweets on Monday night and laughed over it. “Ramu sir is very random sometimes. Vidyut sir and I are martial artistes and the first rule of martial arts is that we don't use it as an offensive. I wouldn't want to use martial arts to artial arts to fight anybody. Ramu sir and Vidyut sir are my seniors and I wouldn't want to talk against them either,“ he asserted, insisting he has a lot of respect for both.

When prodded on RGV referring to him as a “woman“ in the recording, Tiger responded, saying, “Ramu sir has the freedom of speech so he can say what he wants. I haven't heard the recording so I wouldn't want to comment on it.“

However, the filmmaker whose upcoming Sarkar 3 features Tiger's father in a significant role realised his mistake later on Tuesday and he apologised to both actors “For the irritation caused“ saying he had tweeted in his “usual fun way“.

When Mirror contacted Ram, he chose not to comment, but Vidyut shed some light on the incident informing that RGV had called him on Monday to discuss a few ideas and at the meeting was praising him to the skies. “Later, he called to ask if I had read his tweets. I did read them and told him that I didn't understand why he would he make such remarks. I put out the recording with his permission,“ he clarified.
