MUMBAI MIRROR (April 13, 2017)

Actress Udita Goswami who was in a relationship with director Mohit Suri for nine years before the couple tied the knot in 2013, played the perfect hostess at her filmmaker-husband’s 36th birthday at their suburban home. Their daughter, Devi, was the centre of attention, even cutting the birthday cake for her dad.

Shraddha, who has acted in three Mohit Suri directorials, including her claim to fame, Aashiqui 2, fondly calls Mohit ‘Momdi’ while he had nicknamed her ‘Chhotu’. The 30-year-old actress had company in her Aashiqui 2 co-star, Aditya Roy Kapur, and her Half Girlfriend hero, Arjun Kapoor, who arrived with Chetan Bhagat, whose book Mohit has adapted, and his wife Anusha.

Among the guests was also Sidharth Malhotra, along with several of Mohit’s assistants and filmmakers like Goldie Behl and sister Srishti Arya, Tanuj Garg and Ken Ghosh. Mohit’s cousin, Vishesh Bhatt, arrived with wife Kanika and sister Sakshi. The conversation centred around his upcoming release. While he’s both nervous and excited, Udita, who was often on the sets, is optimistic about its fate.
