Exactly two years after they came together for Katti Batti, Nikkhil Advani and Kangana Ranaut will face-off at the box-office. Nikhhil’s Lucknow Central goes up against Kangana’s Simran on September 15.

KB saw Imran Khan’s acting career take a dive, while Kangana quickly moved on. Nikkhil’s production Airlift lifted his stock, while Kangs’ Rangoon didn’t find too many takers. “Nikhhil is producing Lucknow Central with Farhan Akhtar as the lead and is prepping for his film’s arrival and Kangana is almost through with Simran,” our source informs. Both film are comedies and see Farhan and Kangana play quirky characters.

But while Lucknow Central is an out-and-out desi affair which is being shot in India, Simran is being shot across various cities in USA.

There’s another interesting facet to this clash. Kangana and Farhan have come together for just one film, Game (2011), which he co-produced with Ritesh Sidhwani. The film was a major disaster commercially. Now, Farhan and Kangana are taking on each other.
