Swara Bhaskar is a huge fan of Shah Rukh Khan and has been wanting to work with him.

She has worked with Aanand L Rai so when she heard that Rai was making a film with the star, she approached him for a role.

She told the director that she loved SRK and had grown up watching his films. She also told Rai clearly that she wanted to romance King Khan and not play his sister or daughter!

But Rai told her that the only role that he had left was the mother’s role which he could offer her. A mortified Swara kept quiet after that.
