After his May 2016-release, the socio-political film, Buddha In A Traffic Jam, Vivek Agnihotri has just finished scripting his next, a political gangster thriller. The film will roll mid 2017. Vivek’s wife, actress-singer Pallavi Joshi will play one of the leads.
Pallavi who bagged the Special Jury Award at the 41st National Awards for her role in the 1993-drama Woh Chokri, had also acted in Buddha In A Traffic Jam, playing the wife of Anupam Kher’s character, Professor Jamshed Batki, on her husband’s insistence. She had also crooned a ghazal, “Chand Roz”, penned by the late Faiz Ahmad Faiz, which was used as the film’s background score.
