DANGAL again showed huge growth on a Saturday as it almost doubled its Friday collection on Saturday and has taken its two day total in the fifth weekend to around 3.15 crore nett and the total is 365.75 crore nett in 30 days. The way the film is going it will clear the PK and BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN fifth WEEK totals over its fifth WEEKEND and will head for an all time top five fifth week even with RAEES and KAABIL releasing mid-week.

DANGAL (Hindi) took full advantage of the poor competition and recorded the second highest fifth weekend of all time. The film grossed 5.85 crore nett which is only behind 3 IDIOTS that grossed 6.25 crore nett. This is extraordinary considering how big the opening week numbers and patterns of business today. The tax exemptions are helping keep collections strong in Delhi UP and East Punjab while lack of competition outside South India keeps the film going in other circuits. The film has grossed 368 crore nett now and will end its fifth week at around 370 crore nett. The sixth week will see the biggest fall in its run as KAABIL and RAEES release but it may be able to add a crore or two depending on the screen scenario.
