DNA (November 6, 2016)

The inaugural episode of Koffee With Karan 5 opens with the ace director’s favourite Khan and his protégée Alia Bhatt. And, with Shah Rukh and Alia coming together in Dear Zindagi, Karan couldn’t have got a better pair to open with. A sneak peek into the episode that will be aired today (on Star World and Star World HD, 9 pm) shows the trio having a great time together. What’s more interesting is, SRK and Alia giving Karan a dose of his own cattiness. Excerpts from the rapid fire round.. Karan: The show has largely contributed to you being infamous.
Alia: I am going to cry, I swear tears will come.

SRK: Because I wanted the TRPs of the show to drop a little.

Karan: I am getting stressed!
SRK: HA!

Karan: Would you kill the person who kissed your daughter?
SRK: I would rip his lips off!
Karan: Amazing
SRK: You know you should release that picture of us kissing together
Alia: That was superb
SRK and Alia: HA!

Karan: If you had a matrimonial ad for yourself what would it say?
Alia: Read the offer documents carefully before investing.

Karan: You buzz and…
Alia: And then you buzz off
SRK: You have got to have better jokes...

Karan: If you woke up as Alia Bhatt?
SRK: I would just read the newspaper.
