It was Saturday night fever
for the Bollywood badshah this weekend at a starry event at Film City.
Not con tent with just co-hosting the show with Arjun Kapoor, Shah Rukh
Khan, set the stage on fire, grooving to romantic tracks from “Dil To
Pagal Hai“ and “Chandni“ with
Madhuri Dixit and Sridevi, before going on to shake a leg with Deepika
Padukone, at the after party, where both appeared to be in high spirits.
Om Shanti Om 2? Not right away because in the ring right now is costar Anushka Sharma. Sticking close by SRK's side, she ensured that everyone remembered this rab ne bana di jodi even as he broke into impromptu jigs, obliging fans by flashing his dimples for selfies galore.
King Khan has just shot a “too hot to handle“ commercial with Katrina Kaif and warmly complimented Kat on her fiery “Kala Chashma“ act on stage.
But all vibes turn icy when Kat spots Dippy and vice versa. Both sizzled - Deepika in a bold, slate grey Ralph and Russo with a thigh high slit and Katrina, more conservative in an aqua Ziad Nakad gown - but the leading ladies stayed far apart, making sure they weren't even sitting in the same row at the same time.
Eight-month-pregnant Kareena Kapoor Khan was glowing in a Gauri and Nainika red gown, as she posed on the red carpet. The 34-year-old-actress who is due around December 4, was pouting for the shutterbugs when Anushka walked in. Bebo immediately moved away but Anushka stopped her with a jadoo ki jhappi and requested she stayed and posed alongside her.
Inside, Bebo was warmly greeted by Shahid Kapoor who solicitously enquired about the baby. Bebo too asked Shahid about his daughter and the two amicably chatted away for a few minutes.
Later, when bestie, Malaika Arora Khan was asked who would sweep the awards for “most desirable“, “most lovable“ and “most glamorous“ woman of the year, her answer was Kareena, Kareena and Kareena. Bebo insisted Malaika was just being sweet and wondered if she really “was the most desirable woman at this moment“. “But I would definitely like to think that I am the most glamorous woman of the year,“ she quipped without modesty.
