MID-DAY (October 24, 2016)
A day after 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' got the nod for a theatrical release, the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) pulled out its scissors. A certificate highlighting the changes demanded by the CBFC went viral on social media yesterday. Here are the cuts that must be incorporated:
1. 50 per cent of kissing scenes with Alizeh (Anushka Sharma) are deleted
2. The dialogue 'Kiska zyaada hot hai' is replaced by 'Kaun zyada hot hai'
3. The dialogue 'Saraswati ko dabao' is replaced by 'Saraswati ko chupao'
4. The scene with the dialogue 'Umra mein badi hai, experience bhi kamaal ka hai' is deleted
Additions after the examination:
> Anti-smoking scroll whenever smoking appears on the screen
> Increased duration of fiction disclaimer
