Anjali Patil, who plays the second lead Zeenat opposite Harshvardhan Kapoor in Mirzya, might not be able to attend the promotions and premiere of the film. A source close to Anjali says that she had committed her dates for a performance arts project a few months ago. “Anjali plays a pivotal role in Mirzya and is required to be around for the promotional rounds, but she had committed to the other project in advance,” a source informs.

Says Anjali, “It’s a performance piece on Rumi’s poems in Zurich, Switzerland. I am scheduled to leave for the event by the end of September.” That is exactly the time actress will be expected to be present for the promotions. “I will be a collaborator on the art project with Swiss musician, Valentine Chapot. We are performing with some contemporary dancers,” she adds.

Her project is scheduled for October 16, and is too close to the promotion and release date of Mirzya (October 7). The actress is working with the collaborators to push the date to be able to take part in some of the promotional glitz.
