Kareena Kapoor Khan who was seen in the two earlier instalments will not be a part of Golmaal Again but may do a special song, informed director Rohit Shetty. The filmmaker reasoned that he didn't feel it was right to approach her to play the leading role in the upcoming film as she is expecting her first child but would like to rope her in for a small appearance.

“It would have been easy to call her and tell her to do the film. She would have said, 'Let's do it'. But I can't do that, I will miss her for sure,“ Rohit sighed, adding, “But let's see we will do a song or something with her“.“

The Ajay Devgn-starrer goes on the floors in January 2017 and hit the theatres in Diwali. In July, Kareena's actor-husband Saif Ali Khan had confirmed that his 35-year-old wife is pregnant and the baby is due in December.
