Enlarge ImageNikkhil Advani has been planning his ambitious film Bazaar for over a year now. Hrithik Roshan was the first choice, but after he opted out, the director offered the film to Akshay Kumar who considered it, but eventually expressed his inability to do the film. Then Nikkhil went back to the drawing board and is now ready to put his project back in place.

Says an insider, “Bazaar is a two-hero film. It’s about a mentor and his protégé and the share market forms the backdrop to the story.”

Nikkhil has approached Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor for the roles. “Nikkhil is finalising things with both Saif and Arjun and they are quite aware of the pairing. If all works out well, it will be Saif mentoring Arjun in the film. Although, Arjun’s role will be slightly bigger than Saif’s, the mentor’s part will be more integral to the plot. It’s a 50-50 situation and neither of the actors have cause to complain about Saif’s screen time.” After teaming up with begum Kareena for Ki and Ka, it’s time for Arjun to work with his Ki’s real life Ka.
