Saif Ali Khan finally announced that his begum, Kareena Kapoor, is expecting their first child together, finally putting an end to the pregnant pause. Meanwhile, his better half, who has kept her word and continued working after marriage, will now do so through the second and early days of the third trimester of her pregnancy.

The mum-to-be who gave her nod to Shashanka Ghosh's Veere Di Wedding in June will start filming from August.

Incidentally, the portions in question that they will be shooting till October feature her as a pregnant woman and her own growing bump will come in handy.

"After October Kareena will go on a break, deliver the baby in December and will resume shooting three months after that," informs a source close to the development. Besides Kareena, the journey film which explores the spirit of the modern Indian woman also features Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Tiku Talsania's daughter, Shikha.

Bebo's post delivery prep for the film is bound to be focused on fitness as her pre-pregnancy portions are scheduled for when she returns from her maternity leave. Maybe tips from BFF Malaika Arora Khan who was back in shape six months after giving birth to son Arhaan, will be welcome.

Meanwhile, the source adds that Kareena is in touch with her doctor and is taking utmost care that she doesn't overdo things. The family is extremely excited about the impending arrival.

While Bebo goes about her baby business, her co-star Sonam Kapoor, who has been very vocal about her admiration for her, recently flew out to Los Angeles to finalise her look for the upcoming flick, which will be shot in Delhi, followed by a schedule in Thailand.
