Nawazuddin refutes Chitrangda’s scandalous allegations against his director

Enlarge ImageChitrangda Singh accused her Babumoshai Bandookbaaz director Kushan Nandy of using crass language while shooting and walked out of the film. The actress claimed that director Nandy persuaded her to do an unbecoming love-making scene with Nawazuddin Siddiqui, urging her on with language that was objectionble. Nandy denied the incident.

Now Nawazuddin has broken his silence, firmly defending his director against Chitrangda. “We did a normal scene. There was nothing unacceptable about what we shot. The incident being described did not happen. Kushan is a decent soft-spoken person. He’s a gentleman, incapable of crass behaviour,” says the actor.

Adds Kushan, “Those who know me will know I never use filthy words like she has accused me of using. I don’t know people who use language like that. This is character assassination.”

Kushan intends to sue the actress for defamation. Repeated attempts to contact her failed.
