His character was killed off in Sarkar Raj, so the chances of Abhishek Bachchan’s character being part of Sarkar 3 are next to none. But the threequel’s team is keen to have AB Jr on board and hope to get the writers to find some way of reviving him for the role.

But, sighs Abhishek, “It seems unlikely that I can be part of Sarkar 3. However, this was one of my favourite films and character. I’d love to be part of the continuing saga, though.”

Abhishek who has shared screen space on a number of occasions with his father is keen to do another film with him. “Every time I get to do a film with him, I come away stronger as an actor. Every film with him has been a memorable one. And movies are all about memories.”

AB Jr is bowled over by his dad’s performance in his latest release TE3N. “He continues to surprise all of us. His last shot in TE3N is a textbook on acting.”
