Nawazuddin Siddiqui is on the radar of ace filmmakers with one big banner project after another falling into his lap. And going by the latest buzz, the actor has signed his second project with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment — he is already working with that banner for Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Raees.

A source close to the production house reveals, “It will be a thriller in which Nawaz will essay the role of a photographer. As far as his leading lady is concerned, Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor and Amy Jackson are in the running. The makers will zero in on one of the three girls soon.

Adds the source, “This will be Nawaz’s fourth solo lead outing after Aatma (2013) and Manjhi – The Mountain Man (2015) and the upcoming Raman Raghav 2.0.”

Nawazuddin remained unavailable for a comment.
