After much speculation about a sequel to Sajid Nadiadwala's latest hit, Baaghi, it has been confirmed that the second instalment is indeed in the pipeline. The Chinese government has invited the makers of the Tiger Shroff Shraddha Kapoor-starrer to shoot it in their country.

Confirming the news, Sajid says, “Yes, it's true. It's been a great experience working with director Sabbir Khan, Tiger and Shraddha. The story for our next part needs to be taken ahead. We plan on commencing the shoot in Shanghai in 2017.“

Sabbir, who will helm the second part too, adds, “Shooting with Sajid bhai was a great experience and I'm excited to start work on Baaghi 2.“

Rumour has it that Tiger may even be trained by expert martial art trainers from China. He says, “Sajid sir is the best mentor I could have asked for. I'm looking forward to take the sequel to the next level.“
