Mirror (February 12) had reported about Farah Khan choreographing "Ek Dooni Do", a one-take song set in the '40s and featuring Shriswara Dubey, for Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon. Now, the Happy New Year filmmaker's choreography credits has come a full circle. Farah has done another soft romantic track for the film, picturised atop a train with leads, Kangana Ranaut and Shahid Kapoor.

Her Dil Se chartbuster, "Chaiyya Chaiyya", which had Shah Rukh Khan and Malaika Arora Khan dancing atop a moving train, is still remember 18 years after it steamed up the screen.

"It was Vishal and Farah's idea to set the song on a train. It spans a day and night," informs a source, adding that Kangana, who plays a '40s screen diva, Julia, will be seen in a glamorous dress, shaking a leg. Shahid, on the other hand, as a soldier, sports a rugged look and doesn't get to bust out any moves.

Shooting for the song commenced in February at Vrindavan Studio in Madh Island and more recently travelled to Arunachal Pradesh, where the Indo-Burma border was recreated. "It was filmed over four days, the actors had rehearsed for a week before facing the camera," informs the source, adding that a lot of effort went into creating the six-bogie train which included two trailers. "It was dismantled and taken to Arunachal Pradesh. The production team camped on the sets a few days earlier to assemble it."

Vishal had revealed in an earlier interview to Mirror that the "Ek Dooni Do" song was a nightmare to shoot since it required plenty of rehearsals over four days. The filmmaker had confirmed the train sequence in the Feb 12 interview, saying, "I'm looking forward to it even though it will be hell for the production guys as the train is from the '40s."
