Following reports that Rohit Shetty is remaking Subhash Ghai's 1989 drama, Ram Lakhan, Anil Kapoor has said that Ranveer Singh would be the ideal choice to play Lakhan in it. “I am hearing about the remake for the last three and a half years. I think they are still making it,“ the Dil Dhadakne Do actor said, adding that he'd been a part of films over the years for which he thought he deserved an award but never received any. Then, there were others where he won unexpectedly.
“I had thought that I should've got an award for Ishwar, Ram Lakhan, because people'd say back then that popular films should be awarded. Even for Lamhe I didn't get many important awards.“
