Shah Rukh Khan, an avid cricket buff who owns a team in the Indian Premier League, was heartbroken when he couldn't make it to Eden Gardens in the City of Joy for the epic India Pakistan match on Saturday. While Amitabh Bachchan with actorson Abhishek and the reel-life Dhoni, Sushant Singh Rajput, cheered wildly as Virat Kohli sent the opposition packing Shah Rukh was in Dubai for TOIFA. "Missed match & the madness of Eden," he rued, adding, "InshaAllah will watch India win the finals on ground."
Mirror has now learnt that the star enthusiast will join Indian cricket legend Kapil Dev and Pakistani speedster Shoaib Akhtar as a commentator in the Mumbai studio this evening as the boys in blue face-off with the Bangladeshi Tigers at Bangalore's M Chinnaswamy Stadium. He will be joining the two commentators for a ball-by-ball account of the match in the first half hour, taking a break from the shoot of Rahul Dholakia's Raees currently underway in the city.
