Sonu Sood, who plays the lead with Jackie Chan in an Indo-Chinese production, Kung Fu Yoga, has got choreographer-director Farah Khan on board for a dance number. A source says, “Sonu is close friends with Farah as he had worked with her in Happy New Year. He shares a good rapport with the makers of his upcoming film as well. After the Rajasthan schedule was finalised, he suggested that they incorporate a Bollywood style song sequence. They agreed and entrusted him to get Farah on board.“

While Jackie will arrive in India later this week for the fortnight-long schedule, we hear the song will be shot next week. “Jackie will also be singing the number in English and Hindi,“ reveals our source, adding that the track will feature Amyra Dastur and Disha Patani too, with the two men and about 150 dancers. “The song will be shot on several sets that are being built in Jaipur. It will have Farah's trademark dance moves.“

Jackie to dance to Farah’s tunes; Khan to direct Kung Fu Yoga song at Sonu Sood’s suggestion

Farah Khan will be choreographing a grand Bollywood item number featuring Jackie Chan, Sonu Sood, Disha Patani and Amyra Dastur for Chan’s Indo-Chinese production Kung Fu Yoga (directed by Stanley Tong).

Says a source, “For the first time Jackie Chan will incorporate a song in his film and Sonu persuaded him to do so. Sonu also asked Jackie to get Farah to choreograph the lavish song which will be shot in India, China and some other countries. It was also conveyed to Jackie that Indian love Bollywood music in their films. Jackie is expected to fly down by April to shoot for it. It will be a Hindi-English song and will have Indian dancers flown in to China and wherever else they will shoot the song, which includes shooting at The Jodhpur Palace in Rajasthan. Jackie will don an Indian look with a bright red kurta, green mojris and a dhol around his neck. After shooting in Jodhpur, they will fly to Beijing for the next part of the song.”

Farah has choreographed for a Chinese film before, in 2005 for the musical Perhaps Love.
