The Kapil Sharma Show will make its debut on Sony Entertainment on April 23 with a very special episode. The episode will be a recording of a live show to be held in Delhi on April 11 at Siri Fort featuring Kapil Sharma and his team on stage with Shah Rukh Khan.

Says a source from Kapil’s team, “We wanted the first episode to be really special. It had to be a beginning that would make all the fans of Comedy Night With Kapil sit up. Kapil approached Shah Rukh to do a live concert in Delhi. He agreed to it. A date was worked out. Delhites will see Shah Rukh and Kapil live on stage on April 11. This will be our inaugural episode.”

Sources say Shah Rukh and Kapil will be “singing, dancing and poking fun at rivals” live on stage. Apparently, the channel has agreed to telecast this live event unexpunged, unedited. For the second episode Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor will be appearing to promote their film Baaghi.

Source say that many stars who will be appearing on Kapil Sharma’s show will be steering away from Krushna Abhishek and his team’s show Comedy Nights Live.
