In the midst of a legal battle that Karisma Kapoor is fighting against her estranged husband, Sunjay Kapur, the charismatic actress was in the city recently for the launch of a clothes store. In an alluring pink ghagra, paired with jhumkas and subtle makeup, the actress stopped traffic and made heads turn. She was even mobbed by crazy fans, all of whom were desperate to click a selfie with the actress who ruled Bollywood in the 90s. In a quick conversation, the actress spoke to us about her equation with her sister Kareena Kapoor, her kids and why family is everything to her. “She (Kareena) is busy promoting her movie, but no matter what, we always have time for each other and she is always there for me. She is my biggest support system during the tough times,“ says the actress.

For Karisma, her children are her first priority. “We love vacationing together and they mean the world to me,“ she says. A travel junkie, she is often spotted with Malaika Arora Khan, Amrita Arora holidaying in exotic locations. As for her style statement, she says, “You can generally see me only in black or white outfits, but I thought I will opt for something bling today. I believe one should wear what they are comfortable in. I like wearing ethnic clothes a lot these days,“ she smiles.

Ask her about how she is coping with life, considering the personal turmoil she is going through, and Kareena cryptically responds, “I don't want to talk about my personal life.“
