SANAM RE had a reasonable first week of around 20.50 crore nett. The film had a poor start on day one and did not even grow much on day two but it did good business on Sunday with huge growth as it was Valentines Day and the genre worked in its favor on the day.

The business on the weekdays has been fair as the film has had steady collections at low levels. The best business for the film is in places like UP and Gujarat while the big contributing areas like Mumbai city, Delhi NCR and East Punjab have not performed well.

The fate of the film depends on what happens from now on, if it can add another 7-8 crore nett business from the second week onward it will pull through. The eighth day is crucial for the film.
