FITOOR is a disaster looking to finish at a little inder 17 crore nett. The business of FITOOR till date is as follows.

SANAM RE is a flop and will finish with a little under 21.75 crore nett. The business of SANAM REtill date is as follows.

The releases of last week FITOOR and SANAM RE have gone down badly in the second week. FITOOR was struggling anyway and collected just 50 lakhs nett apprx in the second weekend. The film will finish at around 18 crore nett for its lifetime total which is a disaster.

SANAM RE had chances to pull through if it could have some decent collections after its first week run but it was not to be as collections crashed in the second weekend. The film grossed 1.50 crore nett in its second weekend which means the film do around 23 crore nett business for lifetime business.

Both of the films will be out of most theaters at the end of this week. The Hollywood film DEADPOOL held better than both FITOOR and SANAM RE and will finish with around 30 crore nett business which means its an average runner.

NEERJA had a good first day in the metros grossing 4.50 crore nett approx. The film started slow but picked up pace through the day and was recording good occupancy by the evening in places like Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Chandigarh, Pune and Bangalore. The film was weak in many parts of the country but that is expected as its a content film with no face value. 

The business was best in North with East Punjab at over 50 lakhs nett and Delhi/UP at 1 crore nett apprx with a huge chunk of business coming from Delhi city and Noida. Mumbai circuit should settle in between 1.25-1.50 crore nett.

The film will grow on Saturday but it will be how much can it grow on Saturday. Last year PIKU grew 65% from a higher opening while TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS was 50% from a good start. A few films have even showed 80-100% growth but were collecting less than what NEERJA did.

Its likely the growth will come somewhere in the 30-80% range and if its in the upper end of the range the film is likely to have a good sustained run in the big cities at least.

LOVESHHUDA was well behind NEERJA on its first day as it grossed around 75 lakhs nett. It was far better than films like DIRECT ISHQ, ISHQ FOREVER and RHYTHM but the collections are very low. ISHQ FOREVER would be in the 10-15 lakh nett range while the other two could not collect

LOVESHHUDA can't really do much with such low collections. Even if it was to double up it will still be on the lower side and doubling up itself is a huge task as NEERJA is looking set for a good run.

Meanwhile, SANAM RE which had a reasonable first week came down badly on the eighth day. The film collected around 50 lakhs nett on its eighth day which is a drop of 85% and considering the low start its a huge drop. The multiplexes will be dominated by NEERJA and so its unlikley SANAM RE can show big growth. The film had a chance to pull through but this drop on day eight leaves it with no chance.

SANAM RE had a reasonable first week of around 20.50 crore nett. The film had a poor start on day one and did not even grow much on day two but it did good business on Sunday with huge growth as it was Valentines Day and the genre worked in its favor on the day.

The business on the weekdays has been fair as the film has had steady collections at low levels. The best business for the film is in places like UP and Gujarat while the big contributing areas like Mumbai city, Delhi NCR and East Punjab have not performed well.

The fate of the film depends on what happens from now on, if it can add another 7-8 crore nett business from the second week onward it will pull through. The eighth day is crucial for the film.

SANAM RE did not manage much growth but its collections are still okay against its costs. If it can sustain over the next days it may pull through

SANAM RE was below the mark in its first weekend but it got phenomenal growth on Sunday and this was probably due to Valentines Day. The growth on Sunday suggests a hit film but looking at minimal growth on Saturday it does look like the Valentines Day pushed it on Sunday but Monday will tell. The first Weekend  business of Sanam Re is as follows

There were some circuits which were up 80-90% on Sunday. The film lead FITOOR everywhere on Sunday barring Mysore circuit. Although the film is not that costly it needed a 16-17 crore nett weekend to be in good position.

SANAM RE had a decent hold on Monday dropping 35% from its first day. The collections are low but the hold is there to suggest that the film can get a decent first week despite the slow start. The daily first four day business of SANAM RE is as follows:

It will mean that the film will depend on its second week business and it can go through. The first week should cross 21 crore nett.

FITOOR grossed 3.50 crore nett on day one which is very  low collections and leaves the film with no chance of recovery but that was always going to be the case. The figures from some circuits are as follows

The film needs that big growth on Saturday and a good trend for some respectable figures, that is the only hope. It should get some growth but has to 50% at a minimum for any chance of some sort of hold on weekdays.
