Sameera Reddy who was last seen in a guest appearance in Prakash Jha's 2012 political drama, Chakravyuh, is ready for a comeback with a 3D mythological. Mahayoddha Rama is directed by Abhimanyu Singh and features the actress's voice as Sita, opposite Kunal Kapoor's Ram, with Jimmy Shergill and Gulshan Grover speaking for the other characters.
"I dubbed for it during my pregnancy but the film was delayed and changed production houses as well. The issues have now been sorted and I'm glad it's being released. It was interesting to dub for another character. As an actor, one is usually restricted to being one's own voice," pointed out Sameera, who welcomed her firstborn, a son with husband Akshai Varde last May.
Is a silver screen comeback on the cards too? "I admire moms who get back to work right after delivery, but it's not easy. It will take a while before I can consider an actual comeback. But I will do my bit for this film because I'm particular about keeping my commitments," she promises.
