Purab Kohli is a happy man. After all, the proud father and his British fiancée Lucy Payton are getting their baby girl Inaya (one-and-a-half months old) to India from London for the first time by the end of this month. The actor is redoing the furniture in his Mumbai apartment to suit his family's needs.

“Inaya stems from Urdu word Inayat (gift of God). Since Lucy is a London girl, she, her mother and mine believed that our baby should be born there. All the women in my life took the decision. I will be getting them here soon though,“ says the actor with a smile.

While Purab and Lucy have not set a date, they plan to get married in June next year. He revealed, “Lucy was three months pregnant when we learnt about the baby. She didn't want to wear her wedding gown with the baby bump, so we decided to get married later. We are planning to have a big Indian wedding by June next year, as that will be their summer holiday season. Her family and friends will be flying down from the UK.“ Purab was previously married to actress Yamini Namjoshi.

Fatherhood has given a new meaning to his life. He elaborates, “There's a shift from inside. You cease to be selfish. You learn to put someone else's needs before yours.“ On a concluding note, when asked about the baby getting accustomed to Indian weather, he jokes, “Inaya has Indian blood in her, so she will be fine. Lucy may feel a little hot.“
