Last week Deepika skipped an award function so that she could celebrate the after-party of her recent release. On the other side, Ranveer fashionably received the award on behalf of the lovely lady. Alia Bhatt, who was on stage with Ranveer, even joked, “Who is the closest to Deepika here? Maybe I will have to take the award to her.” When Ranveer walked up to the stage, his smile gave it away.

Hiding his smitten look, he tried diverting the ‘awws’ from the audience as he mimicked Deepika’s thank you speech.
