Mirror (October 16) was the
first to report that Amitabh Bachchan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vidya
Balan share screen space in filmmaker Ribhu Dasgupta's upcoming
thriller, titled TE3N. The actors have been shooting in the City of Joy
for the past few weeks.
This picture of the Big B stretching out on a boat, however, was not a part of the shoot. “It was taken just before sunset last week by a crew member when Amitji was sailing down the Ganges. He was all gung-ho about the scene and after it was canned to everyone's satisfaction, we caught him in a chilled out mood,“ a source from the film's sets informed Mirror.
TE3N, set entirely in Kolkata, is a quickie with the day stretching from 4 am to 10 pm. “Amitji at 73 is the one with the maximum energy,“ says the awe-struck source.
Sujoy Ghosh, the film's creative producer, had revealed in an earlier interview to Mirror that the film's idea had originated from the senior Bachchan. “One day, we were chatting with sir and Ribhu sketched out the idea to him. He reacted instantly saying he was doing the film. When we told him we didn't even have a script, he instructed us to write one. He agreed to the film on the basis of just a thought,“ the filmmaker had said.
