Besides the love story of Bajirao (Ranveer Singh) and Mastani (Deepika Padukone) at its core, a large part of director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming historical romantic drama, Bajirao Mastani, is about the skill of the Peshwa warrior as a ruler. The film that also stars Priyanka Chopra, Tanvi Azmi and Milind Soman, transports it audiences back to a time of war, passion, grandeur and love. After Gajanana, Deewani Mastani and Pinga, the next offering from the film's eloquent album is the victory anthem Malhari, which will be launched today.

The song, which is shot on an extensive scale, is choreographed by Ganesh Acharya and signifies victory and celebration. In the period drama, the Malhari track comes after a crucial victory that Bajirao and his soldiers celebrate, forgetting all their hierarchies. It is a motivational number through which the Peshwa warrior boosts the morale of his army for future battles.

The song Malhari from Bajirao Mastani will be launched by Ranveer Singh in Bhopal with great fanfare. After Gajanana, Deewani Mastani and Pinga, Bhansali will release Malhari. It signifies victory and celebration and comes when Ranveer as Bajirao, motivates his soldiers, building confidence and morale in them for future battles.

The victory anthem, sung by Vishal Dadlani and choreographed by Ganesh Acharya will be launched in Bhopal, as the region is of great significance to the warrior’s story.

Since Bajirao won one of his biggest battles in Bhopal, the makers thought it ideal to launch this celebratory song there. The Battle of Bhopal is one of the biggest battles of the 18th century, which resulted in Maratha victory, thanks to the tactics of Maratha Peshwa Bajirao.

Ranveer Singh will spend an hour in between to visit the historical sites in Bhopal. He lands there in the morning and leaves later that evening for Mumbai, will spend his free hours in between to travel with his team to places of historical significance since this is his first trip to Bhopal.
