Prem Ratan Dhan Payo's
(PRDP) song Jalte Diye leaves viewers in raptures. Not only does the
track showcase the romance between the lead pair, Salman Khan and Sonam
Kapoor, but also makes a lasting impression with 7,000 diyas that were
lit especially for the shoot. Apparently over 150 people were needed to
light the diyas and keep them burning throughout the shoot. That's
filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya for you. He totally believes in giving romantic
songs an enriching effect. After all, romance has been a key ingredient
in his cult films like Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hai Koun..! and Hum
SaathSaath Hain.
Sooraj says, “Jalte Diye is a wonderful rendition of the love between Salman and Sonam in the movie. The song is very important and it is also very close to my heart.“
One of the main reasons why PRDP is carrying a deafening buzz is that it brings together the most-loved actor-director duo, Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya, after a 16-year gap. Whenever they have teamed up in the past, they have created magic. PRDP is also extra special because it comes immediately after Salman's record-breaker Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Like all Rajshri movies, this one too, has an enviable ensemble cast.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, presented by Fox Star Studios and produced by Rajshri Productions, releases November 12.
