DNA (July 5, 2015)

So far this year hasn’t been good for Ranbir Kapoor. Both his films Roy and Bombay Velvet which released in the first half of 2015 failed to work at the box office. In fact, Anurag Kashyap’s period drama Bombay Velvet staring RK, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar was declared the biggest flop of all time. With three films (don’t forget Besharam) failing to fare well at the box office back-to -back, one would obviously expect Ranbir to become more cautious. But looks like Rishi Kapoor’s ladla beta is going a bit too far. Apparently, the talented actor is taking active interest in Anurag Basu’s directorial venture Jagga Jasoos. The detective film co-starring Katrina Kaif has already been delayed a few times and now the actor is making things tough. Being a co-producer on the film, RK is paying attention to every detail and is involving himself in all the decisions being taken. He is also sitting at the editing table to ensure the film does not drag along.
