Richa Chadha returned from the Cannes Film Festival overwhelmed about the standing ovation her upcoming film, Masaan, received and the two awards it bagged. But that's not the only reason she's drooling over France.

The actress who returned to the European country for a 10-day promotional tour, was back in Mumbai on June 6, raving about French actor-director Franck Gastambide. She took to social media to share a moment from her last evening in the romantic city: "Avec le polyvalent et charmant @franckgastambide ma derniere soiree a Paris. Il a butin :-) (sic)". It translates as, "With the versatile and charming Franck Gastambide on my last evening in Paris. He is booty."

Her friends have been teasing her that her French hottie is a Siddharth Malhotra lookalike. She laughs off the comparison, saying that he is better than any Indian man she has known. The 26-year-old actress who has been brushing up on her French, met Franck at a party thrown by Masaan's makers in Paris. She reunited with him during her recent visit.

"They had met professionally, since Franck is a good friend of the French producers. They could not meet when Richa was at the French Riviera, but in Paris they made sure they spent every waking moment with each other," reveals a source close to the actress.

Last week, the actress wrapped up the first schedule of Pooja Bhatt's Cabaret in Jaipur. She will return to the French capital during the international release of Masaan, in the last week of July. And we can expect more l'amour in the air then.

"Richa is bowled over by Franck's chivalry. She always thought that French men are charming, gentle and caring. She would often joke that she could even marry a waiter if he was French," adds the source.
