Meanwhile, Kangana kept talking about her "big" moment. Aamir finally coaxed her to bring out the coveted trophy. She did, calling it her "Indian Oscar". Her Queen director, Vikas Bahl, was away in Goa, but the film's chartbuster, 'Maine hoton se lagai toh, hungama ho gaya...' played on till the early hours and all her guests, from Imran Khan and Shraddha Kapoor to Anupam Kher, Farah Khan and Sonu Sood hit the dance floor. Even Vidya Balan who came with husband, Siddharth Roy Kapur, looked refreshed after a week-long detox in the Himalayas, and joined the naach-gaana.
At around 6 am Aamir Khan stopped Varun Dhawan and Darshan Kumaar, both of who were in high spirits, to discuss world cinema. "And almost immediately, the mood changed, from dancing and drinking, to a serious discussion on films," says a guest. "Aamir advised the youngsters to concentrate on better scripts and then, as the sun rose to announce the beginning of a new day, the revellers called it a day."
