Doting dads, married couples and colour coordinated co-stars were at their adoring best at a recent gala... Only Alia and Sid chose not to wear their hearts on their sleeves

DAD'S THE WAY TO GO
Earlier this year, Hrithik Roshan delivered a 40-minute monologue about his father's inspiring journey which he concluded by saying, “My father's greatest achievement is standing in front of you.“
On Saturday night, the 41-year-old star put on the 'super dad' cape for his sons, Hridhaan and Hrehaan. The trio, dressed in matching burgundy tuxedos, stepped up on stage together. And Hrithik holding up their arms triumphantly announced to the world, “Whatever daddy does is because of you. You are my inspiration!“ The boys acknowledged this grand show of love with a quiet “Thank you!“

'I LOVE KALKI TO DEATH'
Kalki Koechlin and Sayani Gupta drank together, danced together and posed together for the paparazzi. The two play on-screen lovers in the critically acclaimed film, Margarita, With A Straw, and Sayani describes their one-of-a-kind equation as a “friendship filled with passion for life and theatre“. She points out the bonding that comes from collaborating on this project is “special“ and insists she has a deep understanding, admiration and love for Kalki. “I love her to death,“ she confessed.

WHERE'S MY MAN?
Sridevi and Boney Kapoor stumbled into the wrong room and the actress was mobbed. Panicked, she screamed, “Boney... Boney!“ Hubby sprang to her side and led her to the VIP lounge, reserved for the rich and famous.

RUNAWAY COUPLE
Madhuri Dixit took the back route to freedom. Despite her high heels, Madhuri held on to hubby, Dr Sriram Nene, climbed over a fence and raced.

ALIA OUT, SID IN
The couple-in-love Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra made sure they were never spotted together. The lady came first while the gentleman arrived well after she had left. But Alia's 'Happy' clutch was proof that all's well in paradise.
